Several Södermalm streets slope steeply and buildings can have their main entrance on a different level than the address suggests, particularly around Mariaberget and the streets near Fjällgatan. If your accommodation has arrival instructions about which side of the building to approach, add them to your booking notes so the driver has them before pulling up.

The Slussen area has been under reconstruction for an extended period, and the exact traffic pattern around it changes as the works progress. A driver familiar with central Stockholm adjusts the route around whatever closures are in effect on the day — that's a routine part of driving in the city, not something you need to plan for yourself.
