Terms of service

Version 2.0 · Effective 5 August 2026 · Replaces the version dated 29 December 2025

1. Who we are

Förare is a business name of Jamshaid Amjad, an enskild näringsidkare (sole trader) registered in Sweden, operating licensed taxi traffic under a Swedish taxitrafiktillstånd supervised by Transportstyrelsen (transportstyrelsen.se).

Contact: support@forare.eu · +46 76 205 15 61. In these terms, "we" and "Förare" mean the above. "You" means the person who makes the booking.

2. What you are buying

You are buying a road passenger transport service at a fixed price — a car, at a stated time, from a stated address to a stated address.

We are the seller, not a booking agent. You contract with Förare. We decide which vehicle and which driver performs your trip, and it may be performed by a taxi company (åkeri) we have approved rather than by us directly. That changes nothing for you: Förare is responsible to you for the trip either way. If the car does not come, that is our failure, not someone else's.

Every vehicle we dispatch is a licensed Swedish taxi, with a driver holding a valid taxiförarlegitimation, and a working taximeter reporting to a redovisningscentral. We do not sell package travel — if you bought your transfer as part of a package from someone else, that seller's package travel obligations are theirs.

3. When the booking becomes binding

Your booking is confirmed — and the contract formed — when we send you a booking confirmation with a booking reference, after payment is authorised. A price shown on the website before that point is an offer to you, not yet a contract. If we cannot perform a booking we have confirmed, we tell you as soon as we know and refund you in full — see section 12.

4. Price and VAT

  • The price shown is the total price for the vehicle, in Swedish kronor, including 6% VAT on passenger transport. It is not per person.
  • It includes the driver, the vehicle, fuel, road and congestion charges on the route, airport access charges, and the waiting time in section 8.
  • No terminal fee. No night surcharge. No surge pricing. No charge for luggage. If we quote it, that is what you pay.
  • We do not charge any fee for paying by card.

The only things that can change the price after booking are changes you make (see section 6). Your receipt shows the price, the VAT rate and the VAT amount separately.

5. Payment

Bookings are prepaid by card, processed by Stripe — card details never reach us. Corporate accounts may be invoiced instead, on separately agreed terms.

6. Changing your booking

  • Changing the time on the same day and route: free, subject to a car being available.
  • Changing an address or route: we re-quote. If the new price is higher you pay the difference; if lower we refund it.
  • Changing passenger count or vehicle class: we re-quote if a different vehicle is needed.

A flight time that moves is not a change you need to make — see section 7. Contact us as early as you can, at support@forare.eu or +46 76 205 15 61.

7. Flight tracking

If you give us your flight number, we watch its live arrival time before every airport pickup. When your arrival moves, your pickup moves with it — earlier or later — at no charge, and you do not need to call us. If your flight is diverted to another airport, contact us and we will rearrange.

For trips to the airport we do not shift your pickup automatically; you chose that time. Give us the flight number anyway — if your departure is cancelled or moved, it lets us help you rearrange. Flight information comes from data published by Swedavia, which we use in good faith but cannot guarantee.

8. Waiting time

  • Airport pickups: 60 minutes of free waiting, counted from your flight's actual landing time — not from the time you booked. Passport queues and baggage delays are the reason that promise exists.
  • All other pickups: 15 minutes of free waiting from the booked pickup time.
  • If you will be longer, call or message your driver on the number you were sent, or call us — we wait where we can, and we always talk to you before anything else happens.

9. Cancellation and no-show

There is no statutory right of withdrawal (ångerrätt) for this booking — contracts for passenger transport on a specific date are excluded from the withdrawal rules in distansavtalslagen (2005:59) and Directive 2011/83/EU. What follows is our own policy, which we give you voluntarily.

  • More than 12 hours before pickup: cancel free of charge, refunded in full to the payment method you used.
  • Within 12 hours of pickup: contact us as soon as you know. Where we can resell or reassign the trip we refund what we can, and we always tell you the outcome before you hang up.
  • No-show: if you do not appear, do not answer your phone, and the free waiting in section 8 runs out, the booking counts as used and is not refunded.
  • If your flight is cancelled or diverted by the airline, tell us as soon as you know and we refund you in full — whatever the timing. The flight being our problem is the whole point of us.

Refunds go to the original payment method, normally within 5 banking days of us confirming the cancellation. We cancel a booking only where we genuinely cannot perform it — see section 12.

10. Luggage, child seats, animals, accessibility

  • The vehicle class you booked has a stated luggage capacity. Tell us at booking about oversized items — skis, a bicycle, a cot — and we confirm before you pay.
  • Child seats: ask before you book, in the notes or by message, and we confirm availability before you pay. When we can provide one there is no extra charge.
  • Guide dogs and assistance dogs travel free and always. Other animals must be requested at booking.
  • Tell us at booking about wheelchair or mobility needs so we can send a suitable vehicle.

11. Behaviour and refusal of carriage

Swedish law applies inside the car: seat belts are worn, smoking is not permitted, and the driver's instructions on safety are followed. A driver may refuse or end a trip where a passenger is threatening, violent, or unable to travel safely — and where that happens, the fare is not refunded. This is not a term we expect to use.

12. If something goes wrong on our side

  • Call us — +46 76 205 15 61 is answered, and on travel days it is the fastest route to a person.
  • If we are late or the car has not arrived, we get you another car as quickly as we can.
  • If we cannot, and you arrange your own transport instead, we refund your fare in full and reimburse your reasonable replacement transport for the same journey against a receipt.

We do not cover onward losses that are not the transport itself — a missed flight, a missed meeting, a non-refundable hotel night — except where the failure was caused by our negligence and the loss was a foreseeable consequence of it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Swedish law. Passengers are covered by the vehicle's statutory trafikförsäkring under trafikskadelagen (1975:1410).

Force majeure: we are not liable for failure caused by something outside our reasonable control — extreme weather, road closures, strikes, an airport shutdown. We still refund what you paid for a trip that did not happen.

13. Lost property

Tell us as soon as you notice. We ask the driver, and we hold anything found for 30 days before handing it to the police in accordance with lag (1938:121) om hittegods. Return by courier is at your cost.

14. Bookings made through a partner

If you booked through an online travel platform, a travel agent, a hotel or a corporate account, that partner's booking, payment and cancellation terms govern your booking — including refunds. Sections 2, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 still describe the trip itself and our responsibility for performing it.

15. Complaints

Tell us first: support@forare.eu, with your booking reference. We acknowledge within 2 working days and give you a decision within 14 days.

If you are not satisfied with our decision, you can take the matter to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se — an independent public body that reviews consumer disputes free of charge. We follow ARN's recommendations. Swedish consumers can also get free guidance from Hallå konsument (hallakonsument.se); consumers in other EU countries from ECC Sweden (konsumenteuropa.se).

16. Personal data

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your booking are the ones published when you booked. We may change these terms for future bookings; the version number and date at the top tell you which version you are reading.

18. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law applies to these terms and to your booking. Disputes may be brought before the Swedish courts. This does not affect your right to use ARN, or any protection you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
