Knivsta to Arlanda: A Short Run, a Full Family Load

Each vehicle category has one combined luggage budget — a large checked case counts as two units, a cabin bag as one — with a cap on large cases on top. For a family, it's worth adding it up honestly before you book: two large cases and a couple of cabin bags is already six units, which is a standard car's entire budget before you've accounted for the pushchair.

• Standard, Electric and Business: 4 passengers, a 6-unit luggage budget — at most 4 pieces, of which at most 2 large (2 large + 2 cabin, 1 large + 3 cabin, or 4 cabin)
• SUV / XL: 6 passengers, a 10-unit luggage budget, at most 4 large
• Minibus: 8 passengers, an 18-unit luggage budget, at most 8 large

A folded pushchair doesn't fit neatly into the case-and-bag counting above, so name it separately in your booking notes rather than trying to squeeze it into the luggage-unit math yourself. We confirm by message before pickup that the car we're sending has room for it — that way it's settled the night before, not discovered when the driver's boot is already half full.

For children aged 0 to 3, you can request a child seat in the booking form itself — tell us the child's age and we fit the right seat before pickup, so there's nothing to bring or install yourself on a short trip. We don't supply booster seats for older children, so if your child still uses one, bring it with you.

For most families of four with a pushchair and a couple of large cases, the SUV / XL category gives enough room without paying for space you won't use — six seats and a bigger luggage budget than the standard categories. Two families travelling together, or a bigger family with a full set of bags, is what the Minibus exists for. Because the drive itself is short, there's no reason to under-book the car just to save a few minutes at the other end — pick based on what you're actually carrying.
