Erasmus Students from Spain Arriving in Stockholm

As an EU citizen, you can enter Sweden with a valid passport or national ID card and no visa is required, whether you're arriving for a semester or a full degree. Longer-term registration — with Swedish universities' international offices, and eventually a personnummer if you're staying long enough — happens after arrival, and doesn't affect anything about getting from the airport to your first address.

Moving for Erasmus usually means two large suitcases, cabin bags, and sometimes something awkward — a duvet, a box of kitchen basics, a bike box if you're bringing one. A standard car takes at most four pieces, no more than two of them large, so it's worth checking your load against the category before you book rather than assuming a standard car will fit everything.
