Left Something in the Car After Your Arlanda Drop-Off
Updated 3 min read
The moment you realise something's missing is usually right at the worst time — already through the terminal doors, bags checked, maybe already through security. The instinct to panic is understandable, but the fix is simple and fast if you act on it immediately rather than waiting until you land at your destination to deal with it.
This is about what to do the moment you notice, and why speed matters more than almost anything else here.

Contact the driver first, immediately
You were sent the driver's name, phone number and licence plate before pickup — that message is the fastest route to your item, faster than going through general support first. Call or message the number directly and describe what's missing and roughly where in the car it might be.
The reason speed matters so much is that the car doesn't wait at the drop-off point — it moves on to another job soon after dropping you off, and the sooner you reach the driver, the more likely the item is still exactly where you left it rather than having shifted, or the driver having already noticed and set it aside.
If you can't reach the driver directly
If the driver doesn't answer immediately, contact support right away as a second channel — don't wait and try the driver again repeatedly before reaching out more broadly. Give us your booking reference, a description of the item, and where you last remember having it, and we'll help track it down through the driver.
What happens once the item is found
If the item turns up, we arrange with you how to get it back — the fastest option is usually meeting the driver again if you're still nearby and haven't gone through security, though once you're airside or the flight has left, a courier return may be the only realistic option and that's arranged at your cost. If nothing turns up with the driver directly, it's treated as lost property under our normal process.
Reducing the chance it happens
A quick check of the seat, the door pockets and the footwell before you close the door behind you catches most left-behind items before they become a problem at all — it takes ten seconds and it's worth building into the habit of getting out of any car, not just ours.

Questions people ask before booking
What should I do first if I realise I left something in the car?
Contact the driver directly on the number you were sent before pickup — that's faster than going through support first, and speed matters since the car moves on to another job soon after your drop-off.
What if the driver doesn't answer?
Contact support right away as a second channel, with your booking reference and a description of the item, and we'll help track it down through the driver.
How do I get an item back if I'm already through security?
Once you're airside or your flight has left, a courier return is often the only realistic option, arranged at your cost. If you're still nearby, meeting the driver again may be possible.
How long do you hold found items?
Found items are held as lost property for 30 days before being handed to the police, in line with Swedish lost-property law.
How can I avoid leaving something behind in the first place?
A quick check of the seat, door pockets and footwell before you shut the door catches most left-behind items — it's a habit worth having for any car, not just ours.
