A ceremony or party with a fixed start time is not the moment to plan a tight connection from the airport. Give yourself more time than you think you need between landing and the event itself — flights run late, immigration queues vary, and none of that is something you control, but the buffer you build in is.

Because your pickup follows your flight's actual landing time rather than a scheduled one, an early landing doesn't leave you waiting around for a car booked for a later slot — you're picked up as soon as you're through, which works in your favour on a day you're racing a clock.

If you're carrying something awkward — a wrapped gift too large for a suitcase, a cake box, flowers, anything that needs to travel upright or with care — mention it in your booking notes. It helps to know in advance rather than discovering at the kerb that the boot is packed tightly around ordinary luggage with no room to keep something flat or upright.
