Booking from the grandparents' address

This is a departure booking, not an arrival one — you're going to Arlanda, not coming from it, so enter the address you've been staying at as the pickup point and your flight details for the destination end. The route and price are fixed and shown before you book, wherever in Stockholm or the Uppsala region that address happens to be.

The luggage question on the way home

It's genuinely common to leave with more bags than you arrived with — count them honestly rather than assuming the car that brought you in June will fit what you're taking home in August. Kids who've grown mean clothes packed differently, gifts add bulk that wasn't there on arrival, and a family of four who arrived with a Standard car's worth of luggage might need SUV / XL for the return.

If you're not sure, mention what you're bringing in the booking notes — we'd rather confirm a bigger car before pickup than have it discovered as a problem when everything's already at the door waiting to be loaded.

A seat for the return, too

If a car seat was fitted for the arrival months ago, don't assume it carries over automatically — request it again for the departure booking with your child's current age, since a child who was under one in June may be well into the one-to-three range by August, which changes which seat is right.

Children can outgrow a seat band over a long summer, so check the age you enter in the booking form for the trip home rather than copying the one from the arrival. Seats are fitted for under-ones and one-to-threes; an older child who still needs a booster should travel with one you bring.

What if we're bringing home a lot more than we arrived with?

Count your bags honestly against your vehicle category's luggage budget, and mention it in the notes if you're not sure — we'll confirm the right car before pickup.

Do I need to request a child seat again for the departure?

Yes — request it fresh with your child's current age, since ages (and the seat that fits them) can change over the course of a summer stay.

Is the price different for a departure booking versus an arrival one?

The price is fixed by route and vehicle category either direction, shown before you book — there's no different pricing for departures.

Can we get a receipt for this trip?

Yes — a receipt with the VAT line is available, made out to a private person, for your records.

Can the grandparents book the ride for us?

Yes — anyone can book and pay. Give the family's details and flight number, and the driver's name, phone number and plate are sent before pickup to the contact on the booking.
