Which category fits

A medium-to-large dog with a modest crate can often travel in a Standard car alongside a reasonable amount of luggage, but a genuinely large breed with a full-size crate, especially alongside cases and other passengers, often needs the extra room of SUV / XL. We confirm the right fit before pickup based on the details you give us, rather than leaving it to be worked out at the kerb.

A dog straight off a flight

A dog that's just flown in is often stressed and disoriented, and a calm, unhurried approach at the car — no sudden movement, the crate handled gently — makes the ride easier for everyone. Mention it in your notes if you'd like the driver to be aware of that specifically.

Import paperwork comes first

Before the car is even a question, make sure your dog's import paperwork is in order for entering Sweden — microchipping, rabies vaccination and the right documentation, which differ depending on where you're travelling from. Jordbruksverket, the Swedish Board of Agriculture, publishes the current requirements, and it's worth checking there directly well before you fly rather than assuming a previous trip's rules still apply.

Is there an extra charge for a dog?

No separate charge for the animal itself — if a bigger category is needed to fit the crate comfortably, that's reflected in the fixed price shown before you book.

Can I ask the driver to be gentle with a stressed dog?

Yes — mention it in your notes so the driver knows to take a calm, unhurried approach at pickup.

Do I need to bring my own crate, or can one be provided?

Bring your own suitable crate or restraint for the dog — that's part of what we're confirming space for based on the details you give us at booking.

Can two large dogs travel together in one booking?

Mention both animals with their sizes and how they'll travel — depending on the total, SUV / XL or Minibus may be the right fit, which we'll confirm before pickup.

Should I mention it if my dog barks at strangers?
