What Swedish law requires
Sweden requires children to travel in a car using a restraint appropriate to their age and size — for a toddler, that generally means a proper child seat rather than an adult seat belt alone. This isn't a preference of ours; it's the legal standard for road travel with a young child, and it applies regardless of who's providing the seat.
Because of that, a driver can't simply put a toddler in an adult seat as a workaround — the right seat needs to be in the car before the trip starts, which is exactly why booking it in advance matters.
Booking the seat in the form
Book a child seat in the booking form when you arrange your transfer, and tell us your child's age — under 1 year, or 1 to 3 years — so the right seat is fitted and confirmed before pickup. This is shown in your price before you pay, so there's nothing to negotiate or discover once the car arrives.
Doing this at booking, rather than mentioning it for the first time in the arrivals hall, means the correct seat is already in the car when your driver meets you — one less thing to manage with a toddler and luggage in hand.
