Arriving on a Domestic Flight at Arlanda Terminal 4

Without a passport queue to clear, a domestic arrival at Terminal 4 can have you from the gate to the exit considerably faster than an international one — sometimes fast enough that you reach arrivals before a car that was timed around a more typical arrivals flow has fully caught up. That's worth knowing so you're not surprised if you're out and your driver needs a few more minutes.

The upside of a quick domestic exit is that there's less waiting overall on a normal day — it just shifts where in the process the waiting, if any, happens.

Flight tracking follows your flight's actual landing regardless of whether it's domestic or international, and your driver works from that in the same way either time. The difference is simply that a domestic exit compresses the gap between landing and reaching arrivals, so drivers on Terminal 4 domestic pickups generally expect passengers relatively soon after the tracked landing time.

You don't need to do anything differently when booking a domestic Arlanda arrival — enter your flight number as normal and let tracking do the work, the same as any other pickup.

As with any Arlanda pickup, the details that matter are the ones sent before pickup — your driver's name, phone number and licence plate — rather than a fixed meeting spot you need to memorise in advance. Terminal 4's domestic arrivals area is generally straightforward to exit from; follow the signage to arrivals and, once outside, use the driver's number if the car isn't immediately visible.

If you're moving unusually fast off a short domestic hop, it's worth a moment's patience at the meeting point rather than assuming something's gone wrong — a driver responding to an early arrival is often only a few minutes behind you.
