Why your driver might not be at the kerb the instant you are

Drivers generally time their own arrival at the airport around when a passenger is realistically expected out, so an early landing doesn't automatically mean a car sitting at the kerb the moment wheels touch down.

If you're a fast mover — no checked bag, an EU passport, straight through — you may genuinely be out before your driver has arrived or confirmed. That's normal, and it's exactly why the waiting window is measured from your driver's confirmed arrival, not from your own.

What to do if you're out ahead of your driver

  1. Check the message you were sent — your driver's name, phone number and licence plate arrive before pickup, so you already have a direct line rather than needing to guess.
  2. Go to the meeting point named in that message and wait there a few minutes; drivers responding to an early landing are usually not far behind you.
  3. If a reasonable few minutes pass with no sign of the car, call the number you were sent — a live update is quicker than assuming anything's gone wrong.
  4. If you can't reach the driver, contact support and we'll chase it from our side.

Questions people ask before booking

My flight landed early — will my driver already be waiting?

Flight tracking follows your actual landing time, so your pickup shifts earlier along with it. Your driver may still be a few minutes behind you if you clear the terminal unusually fast — check the message you were sent for their name, number and plate.

Does the free waiting time change for an early landing?

No — it's still counted from your driver's confirmed arrival at the pickup, whatever time that turns out to be. An early landing simply moves that whole window earlier.

Should I book an earlier pickup time if I think my flight will land early?

No, enter your real flight number and leave the timing to tracking. Guessing at an earlier slot yourself isn't necessary and can create confusion against the flight's actual status.

What if I'm out of the terminal before my driver has confirmed arrival?
