The one thing you can rely on regardless of which terminal or exit you come through is the message you're sent before pickup: your driver's name, phone number and licence plate. That message, together with a call if you need one, is what actually gets you to the car — not memorising a diagram of the arrivals hall in advance.

Because terminal layouts, exit numbers and where cars are permitted to wait can change, and because which terminal you land at can depend on the airline and even the day, we deliberately don't promise a fixed meeting spot in the abstract. What's constant is that you'll have a name, a number and a plate before you need them.

3. You receive (or already have) the driver's name, number and plate, and head to the arrivals area to meet them or find the car.
4. If anything about where to meet is unclear on the day, call the number you were sent — a direct question to your actual driver beats guessing.

Travellers arriving from countries with a very standardised pre-booked-car culture — a fixed meet-and-greet desk, a uniformed rep holding a tablet — sometimes expect the same setup everywhere, and it's worth resetting that expectation for Arlanda specifically. What you get here is a direct, named driver with a phone number, not a desk or a third-party greeter, and that's a simpler system once you know to expect it rather than a downgrade from one.

If in doubt on the day, the phone is genuinely the fastest route to certainty — quicker than walking the length of an unfamiliar arrivals hall hoping to spot a car.
