Missed Your Connection? Updating the Flight Number for Your Arlanda Pickup
Updated 3 min read
You booked your Arlanda pickup around one flight number, and then a tight connection somewhere else didn't work out — a delayed first leg, a gate change on the wrong side of a terminal, a queue that ran long. Now you're on a rebooked flight into Arlanda that has nothing to do with the number on your original booking, and the transfer needs to know about it.
This is a straightforward fix, but it does need you to do one thing: tell us the new flight number, because that's the only number our tracking is actually watching.
Why the flight number matters more than the original booking time
Flight tracking works by watching a specific flight number's live status and moving your pickup to follow it — earlier or later, whatever the flight actually does. It has no way of knowing you've been rebooked onto a different flight unless you tell it; from the system's point of view, the original number is still the one it's tracking, right up until you correct it.
That's true even if the new flight is operated by the same airline, arrives around a similar time, or feels like an obvious substitute. The system follows the number, not your itinerary as a whole.
How to update it
- As soon as you know your new flight number — from your rebooking confirmation, the airline's app, or the gate agent — contact us with it, by phone or email.
- Give us the operating flight number if the connection was rebooked through a codeshare, since that's the one tracking follows most reliably.
- Confirm the new expected arrival time into Arlanda if you have it, though the flight number alone is normally enough for us to pick it up.
- If you can't reach us before landing, get in touch the moment you're through — we'd much rather sort it out live than have you wait needlessly at the kerb.
What happens if you can't update it in time
If you land before we've had a chance to update the flight number, your driver may still be working from the old timing — which is exactly why a quick call the moment you're off the new flight is worth making rather than assuming everything caught up automatically.
The free waiting time on your pickup is there for situations like this too: it's counted from your driver's confirmed arrival, not the original scheduled time, so a short gap while things get sorted isn't something you need to worry about.

Questions people ask before booking
I missed my connection — do I need to tell you before I land?
As soon as you know your new flight number, yes. Tracking follows the specific number it was given, so it won't automatically switch to a rebooked flight without you telling us.
What if my new flight is a codeshare with a different number on my new ticket?
Give us the operating carrier's flight number where you can — that's the one that resolves most reliably to the actual flight arriving at Arlanda.
Will my pickup time change automatically once I update the flight number?
Yes — once we have the new number, tracking follows its actual landing time the same way it would for any flight, moving your pickup earlier or later as needed.
I couldn't reach you before landing — is my transfer cancelled?
No. Contact us as soon as you're through the terminal and we'll sort it out from there — a missed connection is a common enough reason for a late update that it's not treated as a no-show.
Does updating the flight number cost anything?
No — it's a correction to the booking's tracking, not a change to the route or price.
