The practical approach is to book the day and flight you currently expect to be on — your best real guess, not a placeholder date. That gives you a live confirmation, a driver assigned closer to the time, and flight tracking working from the moment you add a flight number, if you have one by then.

If you genuinely don't know even the rough day yet — you're still on a waitlist with no seat assigned — it's worth waiting until you do have a specific flight to book against, because a booking needs a real pickup time to work from, not an open-ended window.

This is where free cancellation does the actual work. If your landing day shifts — the standby seat comes through two days later, the visa clears sooner than expected — cancel the original booking more than 12 hours before its pickup time and it's refunded in full, then book fresh for the new date. There's no penalty for guessing wrong as long as you act with enough notice.

If the change happens inside that 12-hour window, contact us as soon as you know. We can't promise the same free refund that far out, but we look at what's actually possible and tell you plainly rather than leave you guessing.
