One Card, One Booking, Several Passengers
Updated 3 min read
It's a common situation: five friends land on the same flight, or four colleagues share a ride to the same meeting, and one person ends up organising and paying for the car everyone travels in. The price is for the whole vehicle, not per person, which makes this simpler than it might sound — but it's worth knowing whose name goes where.

Whose details go in the booking
The person completing the booking is the lead contact — their name and phone number are what the driver primarily works from, and their email receives the confirmation and receipt. If the group's actual lead traveller is someone else — say the organiser is booking on behalf of colleagues arriving separately — it's worth putting that traveller's phone number as the contact instead, so driver details reach the person who'll actually be meeting the car. See the guide on booking for someone else if that's your situation.
One price, one car, everyone travels together
The fixed price quoted is for the vehicle and route, not multiplied by how many people are in it. Whether it's two people or a full Minibus of eight, the price shown before you pay is what the whole trip costs — nobody needs a separate ticket or a per-person charge sorted out beforehand.
Splitting the cost afterwards
That's between the group, not something the booking itself manages — we issue one receipt to the person who paid, and how the group settles up is outside what we handle. If everyone needs their own copy of the receipt for expensing separately, the payer can forward it; we can also help if there's a genuine need for a duplicate, but the receipt itself only goes to the one email on the booking.
Getting the notes right for a group
Add passenger count and luggage honestly when choosing the vehicle category — see the guide on choosing a category for how seats and luggage budgets work across Standard, SUV/XL and Minibus. If the group is arriving on different flights but wants to travel together, that's worth flagging in the notes too, since it affects when the pickup can actually happen.

Questions people ask before booking
Does the price change based on how many people are in the car?
No — the fixed price is for the vehicle and route, not per passenger. The same category costs the same whether it's carrying two people or a full load.
Whose phone number should I use if I'm booking for a group I'm not part of?
Use the actual traveller's number as the contact if possible, so driver details reach the person meeting the car. See the guide on booking for someone else for the full approach.
Can everyone in the group get their own copy of the receipt?
The receipt goes to the email on the booking, which belongs to whoever paid. They can forward it to the rest of the group for splitting or expensing.
What if the group is on different flights but wants one pickup?
Mention it in the booking notes — the pickup needs to be timed against whichever flight lands last, and flagging it lets us plan for that rather than assume one flight covers everyone.
How do I choose the right vehicle size for a group?
Count passengers and luggage honestly against the categories in the guide on choosing a vehicle category — Standard and Electric seat four, SUV/XL seats six, Minibus seats eight.
