Booking Without an Account: What You Need
Updated 3 min read
Nobody wants to create an account for a single taxi ride they might take once a year. Booking with us doesn't ask you to — there's no login, no password, no profile to build. You give us what the trip itself needs, and that's it.

What a booking actually needs
That's the complete list. Nothing here is an account credential — it's the information needed to perform this specific trip.
- Your name and phone number, so a driver can identify you and reach you if needed
- An email address, for the confirmation and receipt
- Your pickup and drop-off addresses, and the time
- A flight number, if you have one — optional, but useful for tracking
- Payment details, handled directly by our payment processor
What you get without ever logging in
You still receive a full booking confirmation with a reference number, driver details before pickup, and a receipt with the VAT line afterwards — none of that requires an account to exist. Everything is sent to the contact details you entered on the booking itself.
Booking again next time
There's no saved history tying one booking to the next unless you specifically keep your own confirmation emails — each booking is independent. If you travel with us regularly, that just means re-entering your details each time, which for most people is quicker than logging into an account would be anyway.
Finding a past booking again
Since there's no account to log into, the way to reference a past trip is your booking reference from the original confirmation email — keep that if you might need to raise a question about the trip later. Support can look up a booking from the reference, the route and date, or the email used, even without an account attached to any of it.
Why we've kept it this way
Most travellers book an airport transfer occasionally, not daily, and an account you barely use is more friction than convenience — a password to remember, a profile to maintain, for a service you might touch twice a year. Keeping every booking self-contained means the barrier to booking at all stays as low as possible, which matters most exactly when you're rushed and just need the car sorted quickly.
If that ever changes and an account genuinely becomes useful to enough travellers, it's the kind of thing we'd only add on top of the account-free option, never in place of it — booking without one should always remain a straightforward choice, not something phased out over time.
What every Förare booking includes
The fixed price you see before booking is the price on your receipt — 6% VAT included, whole car, not per person.
- Flight tracked — pickup follows your live arrival
- 45 minutes free waiting, from your driver's confirmed arrival
- No terminal fee
- No surge pricing, ever
- Free cancellation up to 12 hours
Questions people ask before booking
Do I need to create an account to book a transfer?
No — booking only requires your contact details for that specific trip, not an account or a password.
How do I receive my confirmation and receipt without an account?
They're sent to the email address you entered on the booking — no login is needed to receive or view them.
Can I look up my booking history if I don't have an account?
There's no account-based history, so keep your confirmation emails as your record. Support can also look up a specific booking from its reference, the route or date, or the email used.
Is booking without an account less secure?
No — payment is handled by our payment processor the same way regardless, and your details are only used to arrange the trip you've booked.
If I book again next time, do I need to re-enter everything?
Yes, since bookings aren't linked to an account — each one is entered fresh, which for a single trip is usually just as quick as logging in would be.
