Changing Your Booking: Date, Time or Address
Updated 3 min read
A booking made weeks ago rarely survives contact with real life unchanged — a meeting moves, a flight is rebooked, you're staying somewhere different than planned. Most of that is fixable without starting over, and it's worth knowing exactly what's free to change and what triggers a new price.

Changing the time
Moving your pickup time on the same day and same route is free, subject to a car actually being available at the new time. Contact us as early as you can once you know the new time — the earlier we hear, the easier it is to arrange.
Changing the address or route
A different pickup or drop-off address, especially one that changes the actual route, means we re-quote the trip. If the new price is higher, you pay the difference; if it's lower, we refund it — and either way, you see the new figure and agree to it before anything is charged or confirmed.
Changing the date entirely
Moving your pickup to a different day works the same way as changing the time and address combined — contact us, and we confirm whether the new date and time are available. If it's a genuinely different trip rather than a small adjustment, it may be simpler to cancel the original (free with more than 12 hours' notice) and book fresh for the new date.
What doesn't need a change request at all
Your flight time moving isn't something to action yourself — flight tracking already adjusts your pickup to your actual landing, at no charge and with no message needed from you. It's only changes you're actively deciding on — a different address, a date you've chosen to move, a category you now need — that go through the change process described here.
Getting the change confirmed properly
Whatever the change, wait for confirmation before treating it as settled — a message sent to us isn't the same as the booking actually being updated. We confirm the new details and any price difference back to you, and that confirmation is what your driver ultimately works from. Keep it, the same way you'd keep the original booking confirmation, in case anything needs referring back to later.
If you're making more than one change at once — a new address and a new time together, say — mention both clearly in the same message rather than sending them separately, so nothing gets missed or applied out of order when the booking is updated.
What every Förare booking includes
The fixed price you see before booking is the price on your receipt — 6% VAT included, whole car, not per person.
- Flight tracked — pickup follows your live arrival
- 45 minutes free waiting, from your driver's confirmed arrival
- No terminal fee
- No surge pricing, ever
- Free cancellation up to 12 hours
Questions people ask before booking
Is changing my pickup time free?
Yes, for the same day and route, subject to a car being available at the new time. Contact us as soon as you know the change.
Does changing my address always cost more?
Only if the new address means a genuinely different route — we re-quote and you see the new price, higher or lower, before it's confirmed.
What's the difference between changing a flight time and changing a booking?
A flight time moving isn't something you need to action — flight tracking handles that automatically. A booking change is for details you're deciding to update yourself, like the address or date.
How do I actually make a change to my booking?
Contact support at support@forare.eu or by phone with your booking reference, and we'll confirm the change and any price difference before it's applied.
Is it better to change a booking or cancel and rebook?
For a small adjustment — time, address, category — changing it directly is simplest. For a genuinely different trip, cancelling (free with more than 12 hours' notice) and booking fresh may be cleaner.
