Fixed Prices for Rides Within Stockholm

A city ride uses the custom booking, the same engine that handles any address-to-address trip. You type where you're starting and where you're going — a home address, an office, a friend's building — and the price is measured from the actual road route between those two points, using the real distance and the expected journey time, not a flat zone charge.

There's no flight number to enter and no arrivals hall to be met in. You choose a pickup time, confirm the price, and pay. The driver arrives at the address you gave, at the time you asked for.

The formula behind a city fare is the same one behind an airport fare: a base amount for the vehicle category, plus a component for distance and one for expected time, combined into one number for the whole car. Nothing about that changes just because neither end is Arlanda — the road between two Stockholm addresses is measured the same way as the road between Arlanda and an address.

What does change is that there's no flight to track, so the pickup time is simply the time you chose, not one that shifts with a landing. If you need the car at 18:30, it's booked for 18:30.

Very short hops — a few streets, a quick cross-town trip when public transport doesn't line up — still involve sending a licensed driver and a car to you, holding the booking, and covering the return leg. Because of that, there's a floor under the fare rather than a price that falls to almost nothing for a very short route.

You never have to guess where that floor is or do the maths yourself: whatever the distance, the exact price for your specific trip is shown on screen before you pay anything, whether that trip lands right at the minimum or well above it.
