Why the Price Is Per Car, Not Per Person

If your last airport transfer was a shared shuttle, you've probably got used to thinking in per-seat prices — a figure per person, multiplied by however many are travelling. That's not how a Förare price works, and the difference is worth understanding before you assume a group booking costs more than it actually does.
Here's how per-car pricing works, and what it means for the maths when two, three or four of you are travelling together.

The price belongs to the vehicle
A Förare price is set for the vehicle category you choose — Standard, Electric, Business, SUV/XL or Minibus — not multiplied by the number of passengers riding in it. Whether one person books a Standard car or all four seats are filled, the fixed price shown before booking is the same number for that route.
What that means for the maths
On a per-seat shuttle, the fare scales roughly with headcount — two people pay twice what one pays. With a per-car price, adding a second, third or fourth passenger to the same booking doesn't add anything to the fare at all, because you're not buying seats individually; you're booking the whole vehicle for the trip.
That flips the usual travel-group maths: the more of you sharing one car, up to its seat limit, the less each person effectively pays if you split the total evenly, since the total itself doesn't grow with the group.
When the price does change
The price changes with the vehicle category and the route, not with passenger count. A group of five or six that needs the SUV/XL instead of a Standard car will see a different price, but that's because the category changed, not because there are more people — and even then, it's one price for that larger car, shared however the group prefers.
Why per-car pricing makes sense for a taxi
A taxi sends one driver and one vehicle regardless of how many people are inside it, and the cost of running that trip — fuel, the driver's time, wear on the vehicle — doesn't scale directly with passenger count either. Pricing by the car rather than by the seat reflects what's actually being provided: the vehicle and the trip, not a set of individual seats sold separately.
